How do you like this? Ecuador's president says he will renew the lease on the U.S. airbase in his country, but only if he gets to build an Ecuadorean base in Miami.

"If there's no problem having foreign soldiers on a country's soil, surely they'll let us have an Ecuadorean base in the United States."

Makes sense to me. About time someone started making an issue of how the U.S. can have troops in 100+ countries, but still claims it's not an empire.
