When you get incidents like you have at Virginia Tech, you can expect the pro- and anti-gun control forces to come out swinging. What is interesting to me is that those most opposed to gun control are also those who are generally in favor of our war in Iraq.

Those against gun control make a good case that no amount of control is going to stop some deranged person from committing atrocities like this. Yet, they seem to be taking the opposite tack when it comes to the U.S. controlling weapons in Iraq and being able to stop a significant force that is dedicated to throwing us out of that country.
